Hi I'm Emily! I'm 17 years old and a hope-to-be future graphic artist!

I try to practice 4 - 8 hours a day (it can be difficult when trying to juggle in school work ha ha)

I'm always always ALWAYS trying to improve! If you are a pro artist willing to give me some tips, please do!

My favorite phrase is this: You learn to draw by DRAWING.
I've committed this sentence to memory, and the words burn strongly within my heart everyday. THIS is how I have climbed to my current level in my abilities. There are no short cuts to art, and if there are, they will prevent you from reaching your full potential. Art, no matter the medium or style, is something that takes full dedication, practice, and love. I will say this now, and until the end of my existence, that I LOVE art. Art is the love of my life! My God-given ability to create is something that means more to me than anything else I possess.

To any artist reading this, keep on going! Know that the ability to bring the things of your imagination into the real world is a fantastic, magical-like quality that makes you an amazing person! Even if you think you're no good (I do all the time), don't get depressed - just keep drawing. Improvement will come, but make sure you still have fun doing the activity you love!
